Data Processing Consent

CONSENT TO THE COLLECTING AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In light of the EU- General Data Protection Regulation, The American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA), and Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act, the conference secretariat, GIS Group Global Co., Ltd. (GIS Group), and also the Controller, has updated our Privacy Policy accordingly. Please read APRC 2024 Privacy Policy and express consent here before we process your submission. This is a request of your permission for the Controller to gather, process, transfer, and store your personal data.

To facilitate your registration for the APRC 2024, your personal data may be transferred to third parties, subject to conference requirement. After this conference, we may need to keep your personal data on the online platform for at least a month before they are transferred to organizing committee.

Your personal data will be stored in a cloud-based central database at a third-party provider’s location in Australia / Taipei and our local office and branch offices. The Controller and data protection officer is located at 2F, No. 316, Wenchang Street, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan and can be reached by email at registration@aprc2024.org.

  • For Local Taiwanese Attendees: Credit Card (JCB, MasterCard, Visa) or Wire Transfer (NTD Account)

 

NOTES

  • Registration is NOT complete until full payment has been made.
  • Registration deadline is based on the Payment Date, NOT the registration date.
  • For Early Bird Registration, please complete your payment before January 31, 2024 (GMT+8); if no payment is received before above date, the registration fee will recalculate to regular or onsite price based on your payment date.
  • All bank charges including inbound, outbound administration fees, and currency exchange difference will be borne by the attendees.
  • We accept international credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and JCB Card. If you have any remittance requirements, please send an email to the conference mailbox at  registration@aprc2024.org.
  • For payment via credit card, please note that your payment must be completed within 24 hours of registration. If no payment is received, your account will be automatically closed after 24 hours, and you will have to reopen a new account for registration.
