Consent to the Collecting and Processing of Personal Data

In light of the EU- General Data Protection Regulation, The American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA), and Taiwan Personal Data Protection Act, the conference secretariat, GIS Group Global Co., Ltd. (GIS Group), and also the Controller, has updated our Privacy Policy accordingly. Please read UT 2025 Privacy Policy and express consent here before we process your submission. This is a request of your permission for the Controller to gather, process, transfer, and store your personal data.

To facilitate your registration for the UT 2025, your personal data may be transferred to third parties, subject to conference requirement. After this conference, we may need to keep your personal data on the online platform for at least a month before they are transferred to organizing committee.

Your personal data will be stored in a cloud-based central database at a third-party provider’s location in Australia / Taipei and our local office and branch offices. The Controller and data protection officer is located at 2F, No. 316, Wenchang Street, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan and can be reached by email at reg@ut2025.org.

  - Each accepted technical paper requires at least one full registration (either Member or Non-member; Student registration is not applicable). Authors with a full registration may submit up to two technical papers.

Registration is finalized only after payment is received.
A Registration Confirmation Email with a receipt will be sent to attendees upon the completion of online registration.

Please note that all bank charges, including those related to inbound and outbound fees as well as currency exchange differences, will be the responsibility of the remitter.

Cancellation requests must be sent to the Symposium Secretariat at reg@ut2025.org by February 13, 2025 (GMT+8).
Refunds will be processed after the symposium concludes.
The bank handling charges will not be refunded; participants are responsible for any bank charges associated with the refund process.
